Okay, no Ty but we got Paulie

Hubby was able to get us in "behind the scenes" at the extreme makeover house. Ty was inside, along with some of the other regulars. But Paulie came out (he's the guy that wears the thick black glasses) and I got my picture with him and so did my hubby's daughter. He was the nicest guy!! I'm still a bit impressed by all the people that did all that work. Talk about an organized chaos. The program should air in April, but I'm not sure when.

If you're a fan, just watch for the house in Montgomery, Alabama and the Jordan family.

  2. Not a bad site Kelli.

Few more suggestions since viewing the site. 1. Get a slightly wider and more content based theme/template (ignore the content but this is an example of having the opportunity for more ad and content space: www.OralOh.com - again sorry for the content - slight passion of mine).

    2. I wouldn't publicly promote you have 1 follower. You want to create the illusion you have many followers. Your counter at the bottom is a great tool to do just that.

    3. Do you have favorite posts you've made? Anything significant or noteworthy? Create a favorite posts, most popular, or most noteworthy, etc.

    4. get your OWN URL. You can do this through any hosting service including GoDaddy.com, Network Solutions, Aplus.net, and so on. Typically you'll pay $9 for the domain, and another... little bit for the hosting (having the site live on the internet). You'll need to look for the DNS addresses for blogger and set them up on your hosted account (ask the support on both companies to help you, they will, and many have live chat support.) This will help your search engine ratings as well.

    5. Which brings me to my next tip: Talk about something that people are going to be interested in and that you're knowledgeable about. Or create an open source site where anyone can contribute based on a certain topic. Get a neighborhood or city you live in blog where people post about their local experiences and what's going on in the town. This way you can post the ads, people post content for you, and hopefully becomes auto pilot money maker for you. At least to some extent. There are blogger options for open blogs I believe. I'm not sure because I use a self hosted version of WordPress (wordpress.org) which takes more skill to run in some cases. But look it up either way.

If you have any more question feel free to ask. You can comment or contact me through my newest and successfully making money site: www.SanJoseCityLiving.com. I just didn't want to post my email for spam reason. ;)

Have a great day and good luck in your journey to blogging for dollars. ( recommend copying this post to another format (word?) and then delete this so it doesn't look too obvious or tacky. ;)

    Ciao

  3. hey, i'm not really sure what your site is about... maybe you should have a little disclaimer or paragraph somewhere saying that this is a blog about your thoughts or something?
